Laurie O’Connel is a London-born writer, archaeologist, activist and publisher. His first game book, Lichcraft, became one of the most discussed debut role-playing games of 2022. After Lichcraft, he produced Hieronymus and Death Game, two games which grapple closely with the relationship between tabletop role-playing games and other types of media, such as visual art and television.
Bridging the divide between satire and sincerity, his own work continues to focus heavily on themes of systems and resistance, and pushes the limits of popular understandings of what tabletop role-playing games are, who they are for, and what they can do. In addition to game-writing, he has written on culture, current affairs and political theory for publications including The Communist and In Defence of Marxism.
David Blandy is one of the founders of Copy-Paste Co-op, a fine artist, and the creator of many TTRPGs, including Lost Eons, Lone Eons, Babel, Gathering Storm, & The World After.
